Awesome! Was great fun, definitely recommend!
Fun night. Cool place. The food was amazing!
Was a great night, fun company, nice meal. Liked the fact that Alex brought out the owner at the end of the meal to give us a little history of the pub!
Yummy food and drinks and an awesome night out. Will definitely come back again.
Great atmosphere and a good night out. Amazing food and drink, coming back to see Dylan
Food was brilliant! Job well done.
It was delicious!
Great food, great atmosphere, great wine! Perfect for a dinner out with a group of friends upstairs, with a cute bar below. Come prepared for a smashing night out.
Old school charm, beautiful hearty food and friendly service.
Don’t leave without trying the lamb shoulder!
I’ll definitely be back
Such a pleasant night… The twenties theme was a raging success and the classic food definitely reflected it. Highlights were panettone donuts and a lamb shoulder that fell off the bone complemented with a mint sauce. Food style was classic pub and the service was friendly and personal. Good wine too!
Fabulous evening of fun and frivolous times in the rollicking 20′s . Great food and service. The chicken and beef carpaccio were superb.
Thanks Alex for an amazing dinner! Lamb was excellent and very tender chicken. Desserts were divine. You can never go wrong with somewhere where the owners favourite food is steak! Looking forward to the rooftop bar!!
Was very surprised at the quality of food. Was awesome, twice cooked chicken was a fav as well as the oxtail cubes. Great for a group dinner. Highly recommend
Yummy food and great company! Definitely come again

The place is notorious (this place was a den for the underbelly of Sydney). The food is memorable – Tasty, generous, filling. The service friendly with a smile. The space cozy and good ambience. The roast chicken one of the best I’ve ever tasted.. The donut dessert with chocolate sauce definitely illegally good. Will be back!
Make a b line here for tiny morsels of crumbed ox tail, with sweet & sour pickled beetroot, still kicking Hereford beef, sliced impeccably thin. Tucked upstairs above east village, the dining room is warm & inviting, so too the staff. A great local with really great food, cooked with love & appreciation for ingredients.
