The second Secret Foodies event for Crave Sydney was our Party in Paris.
Kicking off with French martinis with Ciroc vodka on arrival, guests were greeted with an impressive fromage and charcuterie spread by Sarah French, with a selection of the best French cheese, meats and fresh truffles. Drinks flowed freely courtesy of our sponsors Brown Brothers wine, Rekorderlig cider and Capi water. Main course was a hearty traditional coq au vin, a French braise of chicken and vegetable, served with creamy potato puree. A surprise pre-performance was then unveiled, one very Moulin Rouge-esque Miss Diesel Darling providing pre-dessert entertainment. Dessert almost paled in comparison, almost, but was revealed to be an impressive mountain of a croquembouche, with white chocolate and strawberries.
