The sun was shining, the wine flowed and the vibes were high at the Tatachilla Rooftop Party.

To kickstart the first month of spring, we found an idyllic beachside oasis for our rooftop beach party. Tucked away on the top level of Manly’s Daniel San is Beachside Dojo. Offering sweeping ocean views and a light and bright aesthetic, this trendy hangout is a slice of rooftop heaven on the Northern Beaches.

Guests donned their best ‘beach chic’ attire and arrived at 1pm sharp. To ease them into the beachside vibe, guests were some of the first to try the new White Admiral range by Tatachilla. The range comes in a refreshing Rosé and Pinot Grigio and are the perfect drops to kick off the warmer months.

What sets Tatachilla apart from other wines is its unique label. When the wine is chilled to the optimum temperature, the label changes colour so you know exactly when it is prime for drinking.

Tones of blue, pink, yellow and green were highlighted in everything from the stunning florals by Poho Flowers to suspending lanterns and our very own media wall, embodying the essence of Tatachilla’s wings.

With Felicity and Joey from Paper Hearts providing the soulful acoustic tunes throughout the afternoon, guests were encouraged to clink glasses and take advantage of the spring sunshine. A lavish grazing table was made abundant with cheeses, charcuterie, fresh fruits and bread, while a range of seasonal canapés circulated the room throughout the day.

King salmon crispy tacos with sesame and avocado purée made for a popular dish, while pulled pork buns with soy and cashew sauce were flavoursome and particularly moreish. Other canapés included a spicy tofu slider with avocado guacamole, chicken yakitori skewers, soft shell crab sliders with lime aioli and jalapenos, mushroom and truffle arancini and crispy prawns with bonito flakes. All the bite sized morsels served on the day proved to be the perfect accompaniment to the flowing Tatachilla wine.

Not only were guests given the choice of the White Admiral rosé and Pinot Grigio, but also a particularly refreshing rosé spritz, garnished with fresh mint and a citrus wedge.

Our Tatachilla rooftop party proved to be a very popular event amongst our foodies. If you haven’t been to Daniel San and Beachside Dojo, now is the perfect time to check it out and soak up the beautiful northern beaches.
